Peter Rabbit Vs The Easter Rabbit

What would Spring Time be without rabbits?

The Easter Bunny will soon be busy hiding eggs, but this year he's in danger of being outshone by the one and only Peter Rabbit, star of the new Peter Rabbit film.

At work, the talk with children right now is Peter and the nasty Mr. McGregor.  The song, 'Peter Rabbit Had A Fly Upon His Nose' is being sung with great expression and the story listened to. We've had great fun pretending to be rabbits, creeping into Mr. McGregor's garden and stealing his carrots.  So he really is becoming a much loved rabbit, with children everywhere.  Mind you he always did have a good following, but now he is a superstar 🌟

Actually, a bunny that brings chocolate, rather than carrots at Easter is going to be a sure winner but if it wasn't for chocolate, then Peter would reign supreme.

However if your child has a soft spot for the lovely Peter, why not go on an adventure to discover all about the little fella, in the Lake District.  Here Peter is definitely the coolest rabbit around, even if he doesn't have a huge supply of chocolate eggs.  His creator Beatrix Potter, lived and wrote most of her stories in the Lake District and it's a beautiful place to visit.

Come and find Peter in the trails around Brockhole, an outdoor attraction with a range of activities from mini golf to zip lines  (www.brockhole.co.uk)

See him in The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, along with lots of his little friends (www.hop-skip-jump.com)

Peter is getting better at hiding, but I bet you can find him at one of his favourite places, a quaint little village, called Hawkshead.

All these attractions are close to each other, around the shores of Lake Windermere and there are lots of family friendly places to stay.  Check out White Cross Bay Resort at www.sykescottages.co.uk.

I have a lodge here for my Lake District escapes and I love the area.

White Cross Bay is right on the shores of Lake Windermere, in the heart of the Lake District so perfect for exploring the area.

Lot's of new friends coming to see you soon Peter, in your neck of the woods 💙🌝
